Music will be sent to each player in May so that there will be plenty of time to learn and memorize the program. In the middle of the summer tour, there will be a four-day rest period to ensure freshness and vitality for the group members. All round-trip travel, meals, and accommodations will be provided by The King's Brass for each concert location. Each new player will receive $300.00 a week (21 weeks total) with returning players receiving an additional $50.00 per week for each completed tour season.
Applications will be accepted until April 4, 2002 and should include a brief resume, statement of personal faith in Jesus Christ, audition tape, and three references with phone numbers (to include local pastor). 2004-2005 King's Brass members will be notified by April 18. Please forward a solo piece, etude, excerpt, etc., of contrasting styles (no longer than ten minutes) to The King's Brass, Box 12347, Ft. Wayne, IN 46863-2347. It will be acceptable to resubmit tapes from past King's Brass auditions. Tapes will not be returned to the prospective member.
