THE 2010-2011 KING'S BRASS AUDITIONS

The King's Brass --
three trumpets, three trombones, a tuba, keyboards and percussion --
"the best in brass." From New York to Atlanta, from Chicago to
Philadelphia, from Washington, DC to Orlando, -- this thirty-first tour
will lead audiences around the country in concerts of worship and
praise. We're now looking for one new musician who has a deep
commitment to Jesus Christ.
Rehearsals: 5/29-6/3/10
Summer Tour: 6/4 - 8/15/10
Christmas Tour: 12/3-19/10 (5x)
Florida: 1/7-23/11 (3x)
Cleveland, OH: 3/6-7/11(1x)
Tallahassee, FL: 3/12-13/11(1x)

Music will be sent to each player in April so that there will be plenty of time to learn and memorize the program. In the middle of the summer tour, there will be a four-day rest period (7/12-7/15/11)to ensure freshness and vitality for the group members. All round-trip travel, meals, and accommodations will be provided by The King's Brass to each concert location. Each new player will receive $400.00 a week (20 weeks total) with returning players receiving an additional $50.00 per week for each completed tour season.
Applications will be accepted until March 26, 2010 and should include a brief resume, statement of personal faith in Jesus Christ, audition tape or CD, and three references with phone numbers (to include local pastor). 2010-2011 King's Brass members will be notified by March 31, 2010. Please forward a solo piece, etude, excerpt, jazz selection etc., of contrasting styles (no longer than fifteen minutes) to The King’s Brass, Box 12347, Ft. Wayne, IN 46863-2347. It will be acceptable to resubmit recordings from past King's Brass auditions. We will be unable to return recordings.
