and memorize the program (memorization is for brass players only). In
the middle of the summer tour, there will be a four-day rest period
(7/11-15/11) to ensure freshness and vitality for the group members.
All round-trip travel, meals, and accommodations will be provided by The
King's Brass to each concert location. Each new player will receive
$400.00 a week (24 weeks total) with returning players receiving an
additional $50.00 per week for each completed tour season.
Applications will be
accepted until April 13, 2011 and should include a brief resume,
statement of personal faith in Jesus Christ, audition CD, and three
references with phone numbers (to include local pastor). 2011-2012
King's Brass members will be notified by April 15, 2011. Please forward
the selected King’s Brass group piece (download from our web site), a
solo piece, etude, excerpt, jazz selection etc., of contrasting styles
(no longer than twenty minutes) to The King’s Brass, Box 12347, Ft.
Wayne, IN 46863-2347. It will be acceptable to resubmit recordings
